ReplyDeleteI would like to update to this latest version. I have no cygwin will not be able to get it installed on the machine where I need update. I have to do it manually. I have downloaded 3 installers for CDF, CDE & CDA.
Do I need to install all of them?
Is there any order to be followed for installing these?
Please tell me the steps.

ReplyDeleteI have installed the new Ctools release manually in Pentaho 4.5 community edition, but I found some problems:
In IE don't works, it's shown two javascript errors when you go to launcher.
In Chrome and Firefox works, but the preview don't. I have to save and open again to see changes.
Which version of Pentaho must I download to work with cTools?

Ok, now in 3.10 server and the problems remains.
DeleteIE shows the CDE icon, when you click the button load component but shown javascript errors and you can't do anything.

Nice article. Recently C-tools releases, So I would like to upgrade to this newest edition. I have no cygwin will not be able to get it set up on it where I need upgrade. I have to do it personally. I want to download three applications for CDF, CDE & CDA. Many peoples says, "now in 3.10 server the issues are continues to be". I wan't to test this latest version, I know it's defiantly beneficial for me. Market Reports

To install cde in pentaho 4.8GA whether i should use this
./ctools-installer.sh -s /usr/local/Pentaho/server/biserver-ee/pentaho-solutions/ -b stable -y
or
./ctools-installer.sh -s /usr/local/Pentaho/server/biserver-ee/pentaho-solutions/ -b dev -y
based on anyone suggestions i can move further and let me know any updated ctools-installer.sh which will support for pentaho4.8GA please share the link so that i can download from that site
